  Are you really the first pistachio milk in the US?

  We are! We don’t create our pistachio milk with any other nuts (referred to as “filler nuts” in the biz) of any kind besides high-quality pistachios. This is the hallmark of being distinctly delicious and what makes Táche the first true pistachio milk in the United States.

  Are pistachios healthy? How are they good for you?

  Incredibly. Humans have been enjoying pistachios for over 9,000 years. Talk about a healthy, functioning relationship. Here are just a handful of the dozens of health benefits pistachios offer.

  Complete Protein: Recent research revealed, unlike all other nuts, roasted pistachios are a complete protein. A complete protein contains all 9 essential amino acids, which are the building blocks of protein.

  High in Antioxidants: Pistachios are the third most antioxidant-rich nut. They’re high in lutein and zeaxanthin, both of which protect your eyes from blue light damage (yes, you read that right) and age-related macular degeneration. 

  Healthy Heart: One of the key health benefits of pistachios is that they are heart-friendly. regular pistachio consumption decreases “Bad” LDL Cholesterol and increases “Good” HDL Cholesterol in the body. 

  Good for Your Gut: Gut health is linked to better immunity, healthier weight, mood. A recent study found that eating pistachios helped increase the number of beneficial gut bacteria.

  Pack B Vitamins: Pistachios supply one of the highest amounts of Vitamin B6 among nuts. B Vitamins help produce ATP, or the energy in cells.

  When was Táche started?

  As the story goes, our Founder and CEO, Roxana Saidi, started making homemade pistachio milk in 2015 as an alternative to almond milk. In that same year, her home state of California was experiencing its worst drought on record and almond trees were highly water-intensive crops. Táche was officially launched into the world November 18, 2020.

  How are you mission-driven?

  As part of our ethos as a female-founded and led company, we’re proud to be donating a portion of our profits to support education, empowerment, and entrepreneurship for girls and young women in our community. We have partnered with The Lower Eastside Girls Club of New York City as our nonprofit partner in our mission to foster girls’ education and provide them with the mentorship, tools, and support they need to become healthy and successful women.   How long will Táche last once opened?

  Once you crack open the seal of a carton and Táche touches your lips, it must be refrigerated.

  Three-ingredient Táche (PET bottle) must be kept cold at all times and enjoyed within 10 days of opening for best quality. Táche in cartons (Barista, Classic Milk, Latte) is good for at least 10 days from opening. After 10 days the flavor might start to dissipate a bit, but still perfectly safe to drink.

  What is the shelf life of Táche?

  New three ingredient Táche (plastic bottle) has a shelf life of 9 months (270 days) from the date of manufacturing.
  Táche in cartons has a shelf life of 12 months from the date of manufacturing.

  How much of its shelf-life is guaranteed for my order?

  From the time you place your order, the shelf-life will have a minimum of 2 months or longer! This ensures you'll have ample time to relax and savor your favorite milk at your leisure.

  Will Táche steam and froth well?

  Baristas are our BFFs. We formulated our Táche Barista Line specifically with lattes in mind! It was imperative to us that we created a plant-based milk that steamed well, had no grittiness, and created beautiful foam.

  Vegan? Non-GMO? Kosher? Gluten-free?

  We are proudly Vegan and Non-GMO Project Verified and Kosher Certified. We are also free from: soy, gluten, dairy, lactose, carrageenan, and added oils of ANY kind.

  Where do you get your pistachios?

  We source our pistachios from sustainably-guided family-farmers, many of which utilize organic farming techniques. Most of our suppliers have been farming pistachios on their family farms for three or more generations. We believe it's this generational touchpoint that makes our pistachios unparalleled when it comes to quality and flavor.

  Can I use Táche to bake?

  100%. You can substitute Táche for dairy milk or half and half in a myriad of recipes from banana bread to cake to French toast. We’ve even used it in mac ‘n cheese, soups, and mashed potatoes. We recommend our Three-Ingredient or Classic Milk Lines for all baking.

  Is Táche Keto-friendly?

  Yes, Táche Unsweetened Original & Unsweetened Vanilla are Keto-friendly!

  What makes Táche healthier than some other plant-based milks?

  Let's compare Táche to the other creamy favorite, oat milk. Unlike most oat milk options, we add absolutely no vegetable or canola oil to our alt-milks. Why this is important? Just one serving size of oat milk with rapeseed (ie canola oil) is the equivalent of ingesting about the same amount of oil used in frying a medium order of fries. Yikes.

  On average, Táche has significantly less calories, carbs and sugar than most oat milk options, as well.

  What do you mean by "better for the environment"?

  Glad you asked! Firstly, compared to dairy milk, all plant-based milk options are more environmentally friendly when it comes to water use, land use, and greenhouse gas emissions. It's good to keep that in mind when comparing plant based alt-milks. UNESCO's Institute for Water Education report found that pistachios require significantly less water compared to almonds. The report found that almond trees water footprint is almost 4x larger than that of pistachios trees (25.5 gallons/oz for pistachios versus 97.2 gallons/oz for almonds). Based on UNESCO's research, pistachios reduced water usage makes them a more environmentally friendly option.

  Is your packaging sustainable and/or recyclable?

  Yes to both! We are proud to utilize sustainable and recyclable Tetra Pak® cartons and only 100% recyclable PET containers. The Tetra Brik® Aseptic uses the smallest total amount of material possible for a functional, protective package, while maximizing the proportion of renewable material. Our PET bottle and film are both 100% recyclable. You can view the Sustainability Reports and learn more about recycling here.

  Why did you choose a plastic bottle for your Three-Ingredient Pistachio Milk?

  Our newest pistachio milk is made from just three ingredients and is produced carefully, with quality in mind, just like every product we make. PET (plastic) packaging is the most effective way to ensure freshness and flavor are maximized and preserved for this product, which must be refrigerated at all times.

  What type of coffee do you use in the Pistachio Milk Latte?

  The creamiest blend of rich cold brew made with 100% Arabica coffee beans from Peru.

  How much caffeine is in the Pistachio Milk Latte?

  Each serving has about 110mg of caffeine which is the equivalent of a 10oz drip coffee.

  What is your shipping policy?

  Currently, we ship to the 48 continental states. Orders received before 12:00 PM EST, will usually ship the next business day. Orders received after 12:00 PM EST, will typically ship the following business day.

  How much is shipping?

  Shipping is free for orders over $65 and $5.99 for orders under $65.

  How can I track my order?

  Once we ship your order, you will receive an email with your tracking number so you can follow the progress of your delivery. As a reminder, Táche does not require refrigeration until you are ready to start enjoying it!

  Do you accept returns or exchanges?

  If you have any issues with your order please reach out to us getintache@tachemilk.com and we will try to make it right. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns or exchanges.

  I need to change my order or delivery address, who can I contact?

  We’ve been there. We will do our best to accommodate changes if the order has not been processed yet. Please email us at getintache@tachemilk.com with your order number and we’ll get to work on it.

  Can I cancel my one-time order?

  Once an order has been packed, labeled, and is awaiting pickup, it is very challenging to locate one shipment. (It would require the warehouse team to sift through hundreds of identical packages in record time.) Therefore, unfortunately, we cannot accept cancelations to one-time orders after they have been confirmed.

  Do you accept returns or exchanges on apparel?

  Currently all of our apparel is limited edition merchandise and has limited quantities available at launch. Due to this, we unfortunately cannot accommodate returns and exchanges of apparel. In the future, permanent collection pieces that are not limited edition will be available for exchange.

  Can I choose my exact shipment date?

  Of course. If you need to skip an order or change a delivery date, simply login to your account on the Account Page and edit your ship date at least two days before your next shipment.

  Can I really skip or cancel anytime?

  Absolutely. To skip a shipment or cancel your subscription, simply head to your Account Page and select "skip" or "cancel subscription."

  How can I make changes to my subscription?

  If you need to make a change to your Subscription, simply create your Account here and login to make any changes to your subscription.

  Can I ship to different addresses?

  No problem. Simply change the shipping address on your Account Page under "Addresses" at least one day before your ship date.
